Results<\/span>: Results will be posted at both of the competitions in the “Series” during the event. Points earned towards Final Placement Trophies will be posted on this website. In previous years, we had competitors representing The Rink on the Beach, Palm Beach SkateZone, Kendall Ice Arena, Pines Ice Arena, Hertz Arena, Panthers Ice Den, Scott Rakow Youth Center, Space Coast, Palm Beach Ice Works,\u00a0 Skatium, Tampa Bay Skating Academy, RDV Orlando, Ecuador, Argentina, and Venezuela.\u00a0 See you soon!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Awards <\/span><\/strong>– Medals will be awarded by the organizers of each competition to all of the competitors in each event.\u00a0 Any skater who competes in the two (2) required events in both “Series” competitions will be eligible to win a trophy.\u00a0 Please note that the Elements, Compulsory, Basic with Music, and Freeskate with Music events are required for the final trophy points tabulation.\u00a0\u00a0Plus: skaters who compete in additional events besides the aforementioned will receive one (1) additional point per event! Medals will be awarded for every event during each competition. <\/strong><\/p>\n

FINAL PLACEMENT TROPHIES<\/span><\/span>\u00a0–<\/span> Points will be collected during the season and posted here after each competition.\u00a0 After the last competition in the “Series,” the Final Placement Points will be tabulated, and each arena hosting a competition will have a Trophy Award Ceremony for their skaters.\u00a0 Skaters from other rinks who have won a final placement trophy will have their trophy delivered to their home rink.<\/strong><\/p>\n

SERIES POINT SYSTEM<\/strong><\/span>
The Basic Programs with Music, Aspire with Music, and the Compulsory\/Elements events in each of the 2 Series Competitions will be eligible for accumulating points (Be sure to read the point trophy rules below).<\/strong><\/p>\n

The system for scoring points for the final trophy will be as follows:<\/strong>
Each event will have a maximum of 6 skaters<\/strong>
1st Place 6 points<\/strong>
2nd Place 5 points<\/strong>
3rd Place 4 points<\/strong>
4th Place 3 points<\/strong>
5th Place 2 points<\/strong>
6th Place 1 point<\/strong>
If an event has fewer than 6 skaters, the points will be adjusted. i.e., For a group of 3 skaters, the 1st place would receive 3 points, the 2nd place would be 2 points, and the 3rd place would be 1 point.<\/strong><\/p>\n

ALL SKATERS WHO PARTICIPATE IN BOTH OF THE SERIES COMPETITIONS WILL BE ELIGIBLE TO WIN A TROPHY WITH AN OVERALL PLACEMENT. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE ELEMENTS\/COMPULSORY AND FREESKATE EVENTS MUST BOTH BE ENTERED AND COMPLETED TO COUNT IN THE FINAL POINTS TABULATION. PLEASE NOTE:<\/strong><\/p>\n

EACH SPIN, JUMP, INTERPRETIVE, AND SHOWCASE EVENT ENTERED WILL GIVE ONE (1) ADDITIONAL POINT EACH, PROVIDED THAT THE SKATERS COMPLETE AN ELEMENTS\/COMPULSORY EVENT AND BASIC PROGRAM\/FREESKATE EVENT.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

SKATERS MOVING TO THE NEXT LEVEL DURING THE SERIES WILL TAKE THEIR POINTS WITH THEM AND EARN A ONE-TIME 3-POINT BONUS.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n
